Hi! I am Yatin. Male, 36 years. In May 2014 I got a full body scan (it was part of an insurance exam) and in that found Anti-Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies test >1300. My mother too has Thyroid. So the doctor consulted asked me to get a TSH T3 T4 test done. Results were - TSH 10.75, T3 97 and T4 8. She prescribed Thyroxine 50mg 1 tablet daily as soon as I wake up. I have been having that ever since. She asked me to get TSH, FT3 and FT4 monitored every 3 months.
I got a test done in Sep and results were TSH 0.22 FT3 4 and FT4 2.1. She said continue medicine. Next test was in November and results were crazy. TSH 120, FT3 1.2 and FT4 0.7. She said get tested again as report may be incorrect. New report from different lab had same results. No symptoms. She said continue medicine and re do test in 45 days.
January test TSH 140, FT3 1.79 and FT4 0.88. I am scared. Want your opinion.
