I m 25 years old patientold...Yes i m sexually active......nd discharging foul smells nd heavy after periods....nd burning nd paining....
This is indicative of a vaginal infection.
You need to see a Gynecologist and go for a complete internal exam - per vaginum and per speculum.
ALso it is essential to have a vaginal swab which will specify the type of infection.
Based on the result of the vaginal swab, treatment would be given.
Till then have protected sex.
Drink lots of water.
Keep perineal area clean.
After using the washroom, clean from front to back, never from back to front.
Do not use soaps, gels, douches or any special preparations to clean the vagina.
Just clean with lukewarm water and pat dry.
