I can understand your concern.

You seem to be having shingles. It's also called herpes zoster. The treatment for it would be oral antiviral medication called valacyclovir. You will need a prescription for that.

Application of mupirocin cream over the lesions will be useful. In case of pain, paracetamol tablet can be taken.

Hello,

It usually takes a week to ten days to clear up with proper treatment. With timely treatment the spread can be prevented. It is usually confined to one side of the body.
