Dr. Aditya Kumar Sharma has 13+ years of experience in the field of medicine along with extensive experience in urology & kidney transplantation and is currently the Chief Consultant, Urology & Renal Transplant, ApolloMedics Super Speciality Hospital, Lucknow. In past he has worked as Assistant Professor Department of Urology, Uro-Oncology & Renal transplantation at Rajiv Gandhi Superspeciality Hospital, Dilshad Garden, New Delhi, India and before that as Chief Urologist in RG Stone Urology center, St. Elizabeth Hospital Malabar Hill, South Mumbai. Between year 2009-10 he has worked at Department of Urology and Renal Transplant Safdarjung Hospital New Delhi. After his superspecialization he worked as Consultant Urology & Renal Transplant at Max Superspeciality Hospital Saket, New Delhi.

Dr Sharma Completed his Medical Education from World Renowned Medical Institutions Like King George Medical University, Lucknow (UP), MY Hospital Indore (MP) and Institute of Nephrourology Bangalore (KA). He received training in Renal Transplant, high end Endourology, Uro-oncology, Robotic Urological surgeries and Laser surgeries for prostate. He has done several hundred endourological procedures like PCNL, URS, flexible ureteroscopy, TURP, TURBT, optical urethrotomy etc. He has done numerous cases of endoscopic prostate surgery using laser. He has done all kinds of reconstructive urology of kidney, bladder & urethra. He has keen interest and expertise in urethral stricture surgery for last 10 years and has performed many such cases. He has published his research work in various national and international journals since last decade. For last 5 years, he has developed special interest in laparoscopic urology & now performed all most all laparoscopic urological procedures including laparoscopic renal donor nephrectomy, radical nephrectomy, pyeloplasty, laparoscopic ureterolithotomy etc. Since 2015, he has started Robotic assisted urological surgery for prostate, kidney and bladder cancer and other urological reconstructions like pyeloplasty etc.
