Dr Ankit J. Desai completed his Bachelor’s degree (BDS), in 2010, from Bharati Vidyapeeth University (Pune). He also did his Master’s (MDS) in Periodontology & Oral Implantology from one of the best dental institutes of Asia & India’s top ranked dental college named “Bapuji Dental College & Hospital.” He was amongst the toppers of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in MDS Perio. Exam 2014.

Dr. Desai is a Fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantologists (USA) & was also honoured with the Fellowship in Advanced Oral Implantology. He has a distinction of being a good standing member of the International team for Implantologist (ITI) & Indian Dental Association (IDA). He is also a Life Member of Indian Society of Oral Implantologists (ISOI) and Indian Society of Periodontology (ISP).

Dr. Desai is a specialist of Gum Diseases (Pyorrhoea) and Dental Implant Surgery. Along with the private practice at Desai Dental Clinic (Makkai Pool, Surat), he is also serving as a Faculty at Ahmedabad Dental College & Hospital. He is one of the Executive committee members of Adajan Dentists’ Club, Surat. His successful clinical practice and mentoring credits since 2014 have earned him distinguished career in Dentistry, Periodontology and  Oral Implantology.

Dr Desair is a registered Dental professional with practical experience and vast knowledge of clinical procedures besides possessing proficiency in Periodontal care (Gum Disease - Pyorrhea) & Oral Implant therapy.

After graduating in 2010, Dr. Desai studied & got trained to pursue the position of a specialist in the field of Periodontics and Oral Implantology. Beyond enthusiasm and dedication, he also has a background in Management of Periodontal Disease, Smile Designing, Interdisciplinary approach with the other dental specialties; Guided Bone & Tissue Regeneration, and Periodontal Plastic Surgeries. His educational background and continuous advanced training has given him a solid understanding of Implant Dentistry.  He is skilled to perform Implant Surgeries, Autogenous Graft Harvest, Ridge Augmentations, Sinus Lifts and Piezosurgeries.
