BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Ritesh Gupta has worked as a Junior Resident (Ophthalmology) in All India Institute of Medical Sciences from January 2002 to December 2004. After that he worked as a Senior Resident in Vitreo -Retina, Trauma and ROP Services in Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS from March 2005 to March 2008 and Retina Consultant in SGHS Eye Hospital, Sohana from April 2008 to June 2008.Since 2008, Dr. Gupta is working as a Consultant Ophthalmology & Vitreo-Retina Surgeon in Super speciality corporate hospital, Chandigarh.

His Surgical experiences include Phacoemulsification in all types of cataracts and difficult situations, ECCE, ICCE, IOL implantation, Repair of corneal & scleral lacerations, Horizontal muscle surgeries, Lacrimal probing & irrigation, Laser Surgeries (PRP, macular photocoagulation, Laser retinopexy, Nd : YAG iridectomy/capsulotomy, Diode cyclophotocoagulation). He is also skilled in performing all the major vitreo-retinal surgeries including Conventional scleral buckling retinal surgery, Pneumatic retinopexy, Pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) (with the use of wide field viewing systems, endodrainage, expansile gas, silicone oil, PFCLs, endophotocoagulation, etc.).
