BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Sachin Verma did his graduation from IGMC Shimla. He speicalized in Internal Medicine with a MD from GSVM Medical College Kanpur. Following his specialization he did his Fellowship in Intensive Care Medicine( FICM) from Apollo Hospital Delhi. He also holds a fellowship in infection control by Infectious Disease Society of America( IDSA).

Dr. Verma completed Fundamental Course in Critical Care Support in 2012. He is certified as Advance Cardiac Life support ( ACLS) and Basic Life Support ( BLS) provider by American Heart Association. He has also completed courses in 'Update on Acute coronary syndromes' by American College of Cardiology and 'Maximising Insulin Therapy in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus' by International Diabetes Centre.

He specializes in the management of Infections, Multiorgan Dysfunctions and Critically ill patients and has many publications and presentations in various national conferences to his name. He is currently working in Ivy Hospital Mohali as Cosultant in Internal Medicine and Critical Care.
