Asymmetric swelling of eye, alcohol abuse. B-CELL LYMPHOPROLIFERATIVE DISORDER?

Resolved Question:

49 year old male.Had three episodes of asymmetric swelling of the right eye over the past several months with no apparent cause. Urticaria and pruritis absent. INhaled allergy panel negative. C1 Esterase level is pending. Concerned about acquired angioedema caused by underlying B cell lymphoproliferative disorder. I am a daily drinker and am on naltrexone, propranalol, sertraline and gabapentin. Current conditions - panic disorder and alcohol abuse. Any advice is appreciated.
CBC shows high MCV (95.2), MCH (33.4) and MPV(10.2). Low RDW (11.9). High Absolute Lymps (3.16), High Absolute Mono's (1.04).

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
I think I answered a similar question before where i explained that the foreign particle will be blocked off in the vein itself. If it does manage to get into the heart, it won't be lodged there because of the systemic blood supply, and in all probability it will flow out.
If it does lodge it will form a clot, and the symptoms will be felt immediately.
All your assumptions are correct except for the fact that it won't produce symptoms for 1-2 months.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.
