For two years old patientmy health has been going downhill, it all started after a road incident in which a driver who wasn't paying attention hit me from behind when I was sat in stationary traffic and wrote 3 cars off, including mine.

Since then I've had a number of health issues and no answers from various doctors. I am very frustrated and desperate for help or another opinion.

Symptoms:
Chronic pain in neck,
Fatigue (irresistible urges to sleep, tire easily)
joint pain (knees, ankles, hips especially),
Recurrent, long viral illnesses every few months,
weight gain and bloating,
'slow emptying' stomach/ feeling of fullness,
feeling generally unwell,
Persistent feeling of being hot.


Tried:
Over 30 physiotherapy appointments,
Blood tests (only came back with mild vitamin D deficiency),
Medications (naproxen, omeprazole, amitriptyline, paracetamol, ranitidine, cocodamol. Currently only taking amitriptyline since stomach problem doc stopped my prescriptions for other medications)
Gastroscopy looking for cause of stomach pain found slow emptying stomach but no evidence of ulcer (stomach pain went when I stopped taking medications),
Acupuncture and reflexology (complementary therapies),
seen a few different Doctors for opinions including referrals to consultant and senior physio practitioner.
Pacing - only completing tasks for minutes at a time to reduce pain reaction to activity.

Even tried CBT because they were telling me it was perhaps stress/depression related. I completed CBT as asked, but I learnt the only thing I'm a bit down about is my health.

Further advice received today:
Skip evening meals and consider doing the 5:2 diet to lose weight gained since health problems started and pursue private treatment for neck pain.
