Hello my name is isaiah cowlishaw. I broke my fibula playing in the ocean. A huge gigantic wave picked me up and tossed me high in the air and when I landed on my left leg it became Torqued and twisted and then I heard it pop and then immediatly after I felt sever pain. I had to put weight on my leg to get back onto the beach. I went to an orthopedic specialist and he said no surgery or cast. He gave me percocet and said to stay off of it. Today is 8 weeks and I still have unbearable pain on the outside of my ankle and on top of my foot where you twist it. Is it normal to be in this much pain 8 weeks later? I want to ask for more percocet but I'm scared to I'm prescribed 10/325 percocet one or two every four hrs. I ran out only after one week. I am under the care of dr robert tonks in San Diego he is a sharp surgeon
