I am 66 years old patientold and experiencing frequent passing of urine, every almost 1 hour in the night. Ultra sound scanning of Urinary Bladder reveals: "Distended with normal wall thickness.No abnormal internal contents.Prevoid 207cc Post void 112cc
Prostrate: is enlarged in size, measures 55cc and show normal echo pattern.No focal lesion
Impression: Bilateral mild increase in renal cortical echogenicity with bilateral mild perinephric collection gross prostatomegaly with significant post void residual urine"
Please advise whether surgical intervention is absolutely necessary or can be treated with medication. Also let me know if surgical intervention is absolutely necessary, whether it can be post-poned by few months-

I am under medication for hyper tension for the last few years.

I would like to have an expert advice from an Urologist in India.
