I am a 32 year old female who was with the same partner for twelve years. Four months ago I became sexually active with another partner. He has been tested 3 times this year and all of his tests came back negative. (however, herpes was not one of the tests.... I asked and he said he has never had it) We have had unprotected sex and most of the time the following day after sex my vaginal opening itches so bad it is unbearable. It lasts for days and even weeks. It has been pretty consistent for the last 3 months with symptoms worsening after intercourse. I have used Monostat 7, Vagisil and Diflucan several times but nothing worked. I went to the doctor last week and was tested for bacteria, yeast, uti, and a few stud's. Everything came back negative except a little bit of bacteria from the culture. I have been on Metronidazole 500mg for the last 4 days and still no relief. Please help.
