I am male, 53, athletic. I had a ski accident. Injured my knee. 5 Weeks ago. Had an MRI. Here's the result:

First, we note the presence of a bone edema on the posterior wall of the external tibial plateau associated with a small, slightly recessed focal fracture of the posterior slope of the external tibial plateau. There is also a slight bone edema on the medial aspect of the lateral femoral condyle associated with a 1/111 grade sprained medial collateral ligament.

Furthermore, no anomaly cruciate ligaments or the lateral collateral ligament. No tear of the medial meniscus or outer-

Moderate joint effusion . No tendon abnormality.


How long should I expect the recovery to last? What is the treatment?
