I am on a lot of medication. This is my medication list. Armour thyroid 30 mg, Famvir 250mg 2x a day, Parnate 40 mg 2x a day, Ritalin 5 mg 2x a day, Spironolactone 50 mg 2x a day, Diazepam 20 mg during the day, 10 mg at bedtime, Seroquel 100 mg at bedtime, and Trazodone 75 mg at bedtime. I also take lysine, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin D3. My complexion has been worse lately and the spironolactone seems to not be working as well. I read that Seroquel can sometimes cause acne. What about Ritalin and Diazepam? I'm asking about these 3 medications because I have been on the others without having problems with my complexion. I'm on the Seroquel to help augment my anti-depressant. I have unipolar depression, not bipolar and as far as the spironolactone , my hormones are normal I am just apparently very sensitive to androgens. I wanted to know if there was another atypical antipsychotic or other medication that might help that we could put in place of seroquel that never caused acne. Also, could the diazepam or ritalin make acne worse and what would be good substitutes for those that don't cause acne?
