I can understand your concern.
You seem to be having folliculitis which is caused due to bacterial infection of the skin.
Folliculitis is commonly seen on buttocks and can be seen more in conditions of heat and humidity.
I would recommend application of mupirocin cream twice a day for two weeks.

Thank you, I did a google search to purchase mupirocin cream, but only a couple sites come up, and it seems no local stores websites have it (CVS, Walmart, Target, etc.). Is a Bactroban prescription needed from my physician, or is it safe to buy online? Also after reading some other treatment options online, i noticed that Doxycycline can be used. I was prescribed that by my Dermatologist last year when i was having a breakout, but never took it because my acne cleared on its own, the medication has not expired, would it be advisable to take that to help clear up the Folliculitis? The Doxycycline are 100MG tablets. Thank you!

You can use neosporin cream instead of bactroban cream . That will be available over the counter.
Doxycycline are oral tablets and its better to treat with a topical treatment rather than having an oral tablet.
Hence I would recommend that you first try out with the cream application.
