Small lump coming out of anus. HEMORRHOIDS?

Yesterday I noticed a small lump coming out of my anus. I have done a little bit of research to find what it is an I believe it could be a hemorrhoid? Never had one before. I am 20 years old. Is there anyway I can just leave it and ignore it and it will go away by itself? Or do I have to treat it with creams and stuff to make it go away? I don't really want to go in and see a doctor because I'm really embarrassed about it.

It is quite uncomfortable and I feel really embarrassed about it. I haven't told anyone that I've got it. It's quite painful and I just really want it to go away.

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated!

Firstly, please do not be embarrassed. Hemorrhoids is very common, and it is important the diagnosis is confirmed as soon as possible.
Mostly a high dietary fiber diet, ensuring soft passage of stools, avoiding straining during stools, and sitz bath are methods for temporary relief, but if it is an external hemorrhoid, it may have to be removed surgically.
Hence, I will advise you, get it examined by a physician and based on the grading we can decide the course of treatment.
