Patient replied :
i had a car accident and fractured a bone in my neck
theres no loss of sensation or weakness
i dont have diabetes or high blood pressure
Thank you for the additional information.
The absence of weakness & loss of sensation is a good thing. It rules out bony injury which might have compressed your nerves.
The aches & pain can be due to muscle weakness .There may be other reasons for that like anemia, vitamin D deficiency, deficiency of vitamin B complex etc.
So you should get yourself evaluated. You need to get tested for the deficiencies mentioned above.
Muscle weakness can be improved with good physiotherapy & deficiency can be treated by taking a balanced diet, green leafy vegetables & fresh fruits. Vitamin D & B complexe supplements can also be taken. For severe pain, I usually prescribe a combination of tramadol with paracetamol.
Hope this was helpful to you. Let me know if you have further queries.
With best wishes.
