BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Diego Maximilian Steinberg is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Buenos Aires - Argentina in 1995. He made the general surgery residency and headquartered in the Hospital de Clinicas "Jose de San Martin" between 1996 - 2000 .

He continued his medical training in plastic surgery entered for the competition to Advanced Specialization Course in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of the Argentina Society of Plastic Surgery (SACPER) obtaining the title of Specialist in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic endorsed by the Ministry of Health public of the Nation in 2004.

He won by international competition in 2004 the annual grant from the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons (ASMS), completed the revalidation of the medical career in the United States in 2007 (ECFMG Approved) and did his training (Clinical Fellowship) in Plastic and craniofacial surgery at the International Craniofacial Institute in Dallas, Texas, during 2008 and 2009, with his mentor Dr. Kenneth Salyer (pioneer in the world of Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery)

Since returning to Buenos Aires, Dr. Steinberg devotes his practice as a plastic surgeon in various health facilities in the public and private sectors prestige.

Dr. Steinberg has over 25 papers presented at different courses and conferences as well as scientific publications in Argentina and abroad .

He is a full member of the Society of Plastic Surgery Buenos Aires (SCPBA) and Argentina Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SACPER) ; member of the Argentina Medical Association (AMA) and international member of the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons (ASMS) . He is a member of the International NGO World Craniofacial Foundation and Operation Smile .

Dr. Steinberg, fluent in Spanish and English, graduated in 1996 from the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in general surgery and later became their Chief Surgical Resident. He continued on to complete his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery there, and has since become a member of the Argentine Medical Association, The Buenos Aires Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society of Maxilofacial Surgeons . In 2000, Dr. Steinberg completed an International Research Fellowship in the Division of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at the University of Southern California . In 2002, Dr. Steinberg won the Senior Prize at the Argentine Congress of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for his work, "Bone transport on the facial skeleton. Dr. Steinberg was an International Scholar at the International Craniofacial Institute: Cleft Lip & Palate Treatment Center in Dallas, Texas . Today he maintains a successful plastic and reconstructive surgery practice in Buenos Aires. In 2006, Dr. Steinberg assumed his current position as Medical Advisor of The Plastic Surgery Center of Buenos Aires.
