BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Assis studied medicine at the University Sul Fluminense, Rio de Janeiro. He attended two years residency in general surgery in Lourenco Jorge Municipal Hospital plus three years of residence in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery in Marcilio Dias Nany Hospital, military institution recognized by high discipline and high concept of teaching, both located in the city of Rio de Janeiro. At a navy hospital, the Director Oficial - General, Helton Jose Bastos Setta, award of merit being the best medical resident.
 
Dr Assis joined the brazilian plastic surgery society, institution recognized internationally by the creativity and competence of its surgeons. He developed his expertise in plastic surgery in the post-graduate program (fellowship) in UNIFESP and Clinic of Prof. Ivo Pitanguy, in Rio de Janeiro and keeps up to date in national and international congresses.
