Hello, I had a bump on the inside of my mouth on both sides near my teeth (I'll include a picture) I had it for over a year, it had no growth, AKA no cancer like systems no bleeding, no growth, it doesn't smell, and it doesn't bleed. However for some dumb reason I decided to pick at it to try to get it to go away, that was 3 nights ago and the swelling has gone down however it is still painful and I want to make sure that it is not infected. It looks like it is scabbing but I want an option and hopefully some remedies to make it better and what to do and what not to do. I believe the bump has come from biting the area one night and then i picked at it however it has never hurt until I agressively picked at it 3 nights ago. It feels like a burning sensation and uncomfortable feeling. I used to dip for 2 years however I have quit. The bump is smooth and not hard, it is soft and a redish color of the color of my cheek just a little darker.
