Cause for itchy rashes on back and neck.

Resolved Question:

I guess I have some kind of skin allergy, I get rashes on my back and neck randomly. This rashes cause lot of itching, also on my scalp.

I can understand your concern.

This seems to be urticaria. It can happen due to allergy to food, medications, dust, pollen, animal dander etc.

The best way to treat the rash would be to take an anti histamine like Allegra. However, the rash could be recurrent and would need a long term treatment.

If there is any difficulty in breathing or swallowing, it would be best to go to the er immediately.

Thanks for the reply. I dont have an difficulty in breathing as such, but I am allergic to dust and my nose gets blocked quite frequently.
The rashes are recurrent, please suggest a doctor in Hyderabad where I can go. Thanks.
