Resolved Question:

hi i'm from india. i have an eye condition since age 9. my right eye has a white layer blocking the eye pupil which causes blindness in right eye. i consulted some hospitals in my city and undergone 2 operations. but there are no positive results. and i still don't know what is this problem and what is the name of it. i need your help to tell me what kind of disease is this, it's name and is there a cure? if it is not curable, i atleast need to change my eye, so that it looks normal

Dear patient,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
What can be seen, looks like a corneal opacity although I am not very sure as both the snaps are not very good and clear. If it's a corneal opacity we can do a corneal transplant seeing the visual potential of the eye , or else the doctor can give you a contact lens to improve your cosmetic face value . Out rightly say, you need to show a corneal surgeon .
Feel free to discuss further,

Patient replied :

is there any cure for this? my right eye is fully blind. is there any chances that it could cause any problem to my other eye??

Dear Sir ,
Nothing can happen to the good eye , the eye with a scar has to be seen before we discuss or comment on visual potential
Regards.

Hello,
I am sorry but there is no way a diagnosis and the cause can be elucidated from the snaps.
Kindly consult a cornea surgeon who can examine you physically and guide you.
Regards.
