The edema you are having is body's reaction to surgery. You need to apply steroid cream on the lesion under the guidance of your doctor. You can start applying Momate F cream twice daily and Contractubex cream twice daily for 4 weeks.
This should give good relief. Please use the medicaitons in consult with your Doctor.

If i just leave it to take its course to heal without applying anything? It would just take longer to heal?
