Generally, when the CRL ( crown rump length - measures length of the embryo ) exceeds 2 mm, cardiac activity is seen in more than 80 % of pregnancies.
A CRL greater than 5 mm without visualization of cardiac activity is absolute proof that you have had a missed miscarriage ( failed pregnancy ).
Organized subchorionic collection means that there is some amount of bleeding in the tissues that support the growing pregnancy.
If the bleeding resolves and decreases, then there is a chance that cardiac activity might appear.
If the bleeding proceeds or has already destroyed the pregnancy, then there would be no cardiac activity seen further on.
Your doctor is absolutely right, please wait for a week for a repeat ultrasound scan ( should be done vaginally ).
If cardiac activity does not appear after a week, then please consider termination of pregnancy.
Meanwhile, take all prescribed medications, have proper rest.
Avoid stress, exertion, travelling, intercourse.
If vaginal bleeding / cramping occurs, please visit the hospital in emergency.

For my wife the bleeding happened 21st of September, which was of light spotting with brownish color. Is this of any concern. How would we know if it has already destroyed the pregnancy.
Out of your experience. What would you suspect this case as. I want be better prepared so that I can takecare of my wife. As in god forbid if the result is negative for us I should be strong and well informed so that I can manage my wife. Please be open in your opinion it helps me a lot please.

Right now it is too early to comment if the pregnancy has already failed.
After one more week, if the corresponding growth is not visible, and there is no cardiac activity, you can conclude that the pregnancy is failed and you need to terminate it.
There is no point worrying about it right now, as you would know only after a week, which way the pregnancy has gone - improved or deteriorated.
Till then, it is pointless to worry as stress will negatively impact the result.
