There is nothing suggestive of cancer of stomach.
The symptoms you have mentioned are suggestive of GERD.
PPI like Protonix taken for a longer duration will lose its effect. So you need to change to another PPI like Nexium for relief.
Lifetsyle changes are also important. These include-
1. Weight reduction if obese
2. Avoiding coffee, citrus, fatty food, tomatoes, carbonated beverages. onion
3. Avoiding bedtime snacks and going to bed at least 2-3 hours after food.
If you have any of the following you need to undergo endoscopy again -
1. Anemia
2. Loss of appetite
3. Loss of weight
4. Blood vomiting
5. Black stools
6. Difficulty in swallowing.
