Going up, down BLOOD PRESSURE with raised CHOLESTROL.

Resolved Question:

My blood pressure reading for the last week or so have been been a bite inconsistent which have me a bite worried. It had been going up and down from 90/140 to 80/122 for the last couple of days. It seems to be following a patteren of up and down at the same times I take my blood pressure readings in the am and at night. I have not seen 90 distolic reading in more than 6 months.  I take bistolic 10mg a day. Before this my BP was actually very good at 117/76 average heart rate under 70 bpm. My blood work came out great execpt for my cholestrol which was 212 but I have been able to drop it to 154 with krill oil which I have been doing lately. Below I placed my blood results and below that my blood pressure readings. Please advice on your thoughts. I am a male which hieght is 5 "7 and 183 pounds.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com

I saw your case history and in majority of the readings the blood pressure was normal except on few occasions. In this situation I would to modify life style such as
Avoid excess of salt ,
Eat plenty of fruits and green vegetables ,
Exercise atleast for 45 min to 60 min per day atleast 5 days in a week,
Avoid too much of oil based foodstuffs and junk food to reduce LDL.
In case your blood pressure is persistently high that is more than 140/90 even after above precautions then you may require medications .

Regards
