Making people work at home

Resolved Question:

I am the COO of a small company with just 75 workers in staff. This question is not about any medical problem I am facing, but about a policy for those who can work from home, if they have some mild contagious disease. Diseases like cough and cold, not only degrades performance of workers, but also make others too feel sick. What if I can arrange a work-from-home option for those who have ailments as I told before? You are absolutely right if the disease you mentioned is contagious like viral infection. A common cold is caused by a bunch of viruses which change their genetic material so frequently.
