The symptoms you mentioned are not suggestive of herpes. Herpes presents as a rash involving the scrotum and the anus, and there will be sores in the genital areas and thighs. The burning outside the thigh could be from the penile cut, as any irritation to the penis, can cause such symptoms.
If she did not have any open lesions then it is unlikely you would get herpes from her.
Also, you had protection on, so the chances are absolutely miniscule.
