Psychological Headache.

Resolved Question:

I'm worried about my headache. It started in one area and seems to have shifted. I also have a bit of a stiff neck. I think I may have also stumbled a little but I don't know for sure. I've been stressing for the last two days about my bloating and gas and heartburn and I don't know if my headache is psychological.

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query. I have noted your symptoms and agree with you that your headache could be psychological in nature.

As of now, you can take analgesics such as Ibuprofen 400 mg twice daily or diclofenac tablets for pain relief.

If headache continues despite the use of analgesics, then, you may get a CT scan of brain done. For now you need not worry. Take the pain meds and give some time to evolve. Most likely the Ibuprofen will take care of the headache. You can also take an OTC anti ulcer medication like Prilosec for the stomach symptoms. Take Prilosec in empty stomach, but take Ibuprofen with food. I will keep this consult open so that you can get back to me anytime.
