I can understand your concern.
You seem to have got a burn following the hot water. You need to apply a prescription strength steroid cream called Mometasone mixed with Mupirocin cream, twice a day, for a week.
Hopefully that should resolve the burn. In case it doesn't, you will need to revisit your doctor for oral steroids.
