I understand your concern.
If you are able to have proper sexual intercourse, then the septic arthritis of the hip had nothing to do with your inability to conceive.
There are many people with obvious pelvis / hip deformities, who go on to have successful pregnancies and childbirth.
I do not think that is an issue.
The hip pain should be evaluated by an Orthopedic surgeon, but my opinion is that if sexual intercourse is alright, then the hip problem will not hinder conception.
Since how long are you trying to conceive?
Do you have regular cycles?
What is your height and weight?
Do you have any other health issues?
Has any fertility workup been done so far?
