Dr Hanson completed his pediatric residency from Alfred I Dupont Hospital For Children in 2011 and is currently pursuing his fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology from Long Island Jewish Medical Center. 

Derek R. Hanson, MD is a practicing Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist in Hackensack, NJ. Dr. Hanson graduated from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey New Jersey Medical School in 2008 and has been in practice for 9 years. He completed a residency at Schneider Childrens Hospital.
