BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Indranil Ghosh is Consultant at Department of Medical Oncology of Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals. He is one of the very few trained medical Oncologists in Kolkata with DM degree in Medical Oncology. Dr. Ghosh has worked with Tata Medical Center and AMRI Hospitals in Kolkata. He was in-charge of the breast and gynecologic cancer chemotherapy unit at Tata medical center Kolkata and was instrumental in setting up of departmental protocols there.

Dr Ghosh is also active in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for various cancers.

He has completed MBBS from Medical College in Kolkata followed by an MD degree from prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences where he spent 7 years. His speciality (DM) in Medical Oncology was also accomplished from Dr. BR Ambedkar Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital- All India Institute of Medical Sciences. 

Recipient of multiple Gold medals, scholarships and awards while pursuing his MBBS, Dr. Ghosh has recieved European Certificate of Medical Oncology from the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).
