Dr. George has worked as Junior Resident in Department of Respiratory Medicine, JLN Medical College, Ajmer between 2009-12. He has also worked as Senior Resident in Department of Respiratory Medicine, Pushpagiri Medical College Tiruvalla and as Assistant Professor in Department of Respiratory Medicine in Pushpagiri Medical College.   

At present he is Assistant Professor, Department of Respiratory Medicine, Pushpagiri Medical College, Thiruvalla.    He has attended many workshops on national and state levels on various subjects in pulmonary medicine such as interventional Pulmonology, Non Invasive Ventilation, Sleep Studies etc and has published eighteen papers in national and international journals in the field of Respiratory Medicine.   His academic areas of interest include Critical care, Pulmonary circulation, Asthma and immunology, COPD.   Dr. George has performed more than one thousand fiber optic bronchoscopies independently and has had a good command over spirometry and has been using it in daily practise since his post graduation.  He also has experience in managing patients on invasive and non invasive ventilators. 

Dr. Jacob George Pulinilkunnathil is a leading Consultant Pulmonologist and Intensivist from Kottayam, Kerala. He is a young and dynamic physician with special interest in Allergy, Bronchial Asthma, Immunotherapy and Critical Care.

He completed his MBBS in 2007 from Government Medical College, Kottayam; Post Graduation (MD) in Respiratory Medicine in 2012 from J L N Medical College, Ajmer in Rajasthan. He further pursued Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) from Medical Trust Hospital between Aug 2013 - Aug 2014.

Dr. Pulinilkunnathil worked as Senior Resident in the Department of Respiratory Medicine of Pushpagiri Medical College, Tiruvalla for approximately one year. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the same department. He completed fellowship in Critical Care Medicine from Medical Trust Hospital Ernakulam in Aug 2014.

He is currently associated with Caritas Hospital in Kottayam as Consultant Pulmonologist and Intensivist since October 2014.

Dr. Pulinilkunnathil is actively involved in organising and participating in medical conferences and workshops. He was the organising secretary of a one day CME conducted on Bronchial Asthma at Pushpagiri MedicAL College, Tiruvalla. He was part of the organising committee of the APCCM State Conference, 2013. He was invited as Faculty to APCCM State Conference 2015. He has attended many national workshops and conferences, in an attempt to remain updated in the field of Respiratory Medicine and Critical Care.
