I have had vaginal bleeding twice in 4 weeks, the second time, lasting over two weeks. With this came severe mood swings, dizziness, and fatigue. I take the birth control pill to reduce my periods to once every 3 months, and neither periods were planned. I have tried to call my gynecologist and have been to the ER, but the former refused to see me on short notice, and the latter gave me a prescription for tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding, but could not provide answers or reassurance as to the cause. The bleeding is slowly stopping, but I am concerned that what happened will affect my ability to reproduce and need confirmation one way or the other. The basic bloodwork and urine tests administered at the hospital came up negative, and the only family history of something like this happening occurred right before my aunt went through menopause.

I am 32 years old, relatively healthy otherwise, and am on the following medications: modafinil, valtrex, linessa, and I take hydroxyzine to help me sleep.

I would really appreciate a gynecologist's answer on this matter.
