BIOGRAPHY

Dr Kumar had experience of working in diverse situations ranging from rural area to hospitals in metro cities. During last six years he has worked as a General Practioner, Emergency medicine physician and pediatrician. From June 2009 to June 2012, he received three year post graduate training in a major psychiatric hospital of north India.

After completing Post Graduation in Psychiatry he joined for King George Medical University, Lucknow as a Senior Resident. In the all India entrance examination held for admission to the training program for Doctorate in Medicine (Geriatric Mental Health) at King George Medical University, Lucknow, he secured first rank and was selected for the only position for the said degree.

He was also selected for the Fellowship program in NIMHANS, Bangalore commencing from 1 August, 2012 through an all India entrance examination but he decided to opt for the DM program in Lucknow. In another all India exam for the post of senior resident in AIIMS, New Delhi he was one of the candidate selected for the post in June, 2012. Currently he works at Dr S N Medical College Jodhpur with designation of Assistant Professor in Department of Psychiatry.
