BIOGRAPHY

Ms. Vindya Rai is working as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Abhaya Neuropsychiatry Hospital, Bangalore. She has done her Masters in Psychology from St. Agnes College, Mangalore, and thereafter completed her M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from the esteemed National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore. 

She has been involved in active research, training, and supervisory roles in psychotherapy, psychotherapeutic, and psychodiagnostic assessments in the department of adult, child, geriatric psychiatry, de-addiction, and neuropsychology.
She also has expertise in cognitive behavior therapy( CBT), Dialectic behavior therapy(DBT), solution-focused and emotional focused therapy, couple therapy, and family therapy.

Additionally, she has worked as a lecturer in St. Agnes College, Mangalore, actively training postgraduates and has worked as a clinical psychologist in Lion's school, Suratkal, with experience in the clinical issues of special children. 

Her areas of interest include positive psychology, community mental health, couple therapy, Indian psychology, Psychodynamic therapy, Existential and humanistic approaches.
