BIOGRAPHY

Philip Miller, MD, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Hofstra University, N.Y. in 1968. After earning his BS, he traveled to Guadalajara, Mexico to attend the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara where he received his degree as a Medical Doctor in 1974. His Family Practice Residency was completed at Glen Cove Hospital, N.Y. ( S.U.N.Y.) in 1978. He received his Board Certification in 1978 from the American Board of Family Practice and has maintained his certification ever since. Dr. Miller has over 31 years of experience 
as a teaching physician, emergency room physician and as a private practitioner. 
 
Dr. Miller has practiced family medicine in West Palm Beach, Florida since 1979. He is the former division Chief of Family Practice at St. Mary’s Medical Center and Columbia Hospital. Married since 1983, his wife Jan possesses a Master of Science in Family and Marital Counseling. Together they have raised five children: David, 36 (graduating law student- Nova University), Amy, 33 (teacher- Jupiter Middle School), Lauren, 28 (law student- University of Baltimore)), Adam, 20 (college -Physical Education major ( U.C.F.) and Lara, 18 (college student, (U.F.) studying environmental science). 
 
In his free time he enjoys teaching, reading, fishing, traveling, playing tennis and guitar.
